Marybeth Arago While Marybeth Arago has enjoyed her work throughout the years as an ESL teacher, a permissions editor, and a provider of behavior support for special needs individuals, she sometimes wishes she’d become a biologist (if there’s any chance for a second life, that’s what she’ll do). Marybeth loves wildlife and has always held a special place in her heart for birds. Along those lines, she’s volunteered for organizations such as the California Bluebird Recovery Program (which actually helps all native cavity-nesting birds) and Wildlife Rescue in Palo Alto. She’s also helped with a few marine mammal rescues, and has a compulsion to pull invasive, non-native plants and replace them with natives that benefit native critters.

Marybeth is very happy to be a part of the Mendocino Coast Audubon Society.
